ASL in STEM

What? The MavTHAT ASL Club brings you a seminar from Deaf medical doctors and scientists, including Dr. Adebowale Ogunjirin, a Deaf pharmacologist and associate professor of chemistry and biology at Gallaudet, and our very own Dr. Egbert from the Department of Modern Languages Our other speakers presenting their research include UTA students such as Linguistics Ph.D candidate, Laurel Whitsett, Fadiah Qudah, Computer Science graduate student, and Danielle Mares, a Linguistics undergraduate McNair scholar.
